The learning assessment measures and evaluates a student's strengths and barriers to learning. This involves:

1. Interviews with the student and, if appropriate, the parent/carer.

2. Observations of the student in lesson/s.

3. Formal assessments of the student, including, test of memory, reading comprehension, phonological processing I have access to a wide range of assessment materials.

4. A written report evidencing the student’s strengths and barriers to learning with recommendations and strategies to use.

5. Verbal feedback to all staff at the end of the day.
